New students are selected over the event weekends that held all around Finland in cooperation with local music schools. We wish to ensure that everyone has a chance to participate. We warmly welcome all students regardless of age or level of study.
Students that wish to become a part of the Brass Academy are expected to have an ambitious approach to the study of their instrument and the ability to commit to the Brass Academy programme. During the event weekends, applicants, regardless of age or level of study, will be assessed on their enthusiasm and commitment to their instrumental studies, ability to absorb new information, rhythmic ability, and musicality.
